Douglas Yes, it is. I genuinely hate Core i3, they are the worst. Now I have an Ideapad 3i with an i7 processor, and it is perfect for graphic design and gaming. I've never had anything to complain about. A friend of mine has an i5 too, he uses it for daily tasks and has never had problems either. Nobody I know who bought Lenovo has had any issues, it's really a great brand, but buy it with an i5 core or higher.
