not sure if I got a dud, but the "docking station" does not work properly when two monitors are connected. the video signal simply described, is degraded. fuzzy text and shaky
I didn't test the other ports
maybe I'll buy it again and return the dud

Bruh, that sounds like a headache. Did you check if your laptop’s USB-C supports dual monitors? Could be that, not the dock.

Or maybe Baseus just isn’t it for dual monitors? I went with Anker for that reason. Rock solid so far.

Could be the laptop, but I used another hub before, and it was fine. Just wanted more ports, lol.

Baseus 9-in-1 USB-C Laptop Docking Station / Hub: Should You Buy It?
Highlights and Advantages
- Expands your laptop's connectivity with multiple ports, eliminating the need for multiple dongles.
- Supports high-resolution video output for seamless multitasking and productivity.
- Offers fast data transfer speeds for efficient file management.
Similars
- Anker PowerExpand 10-in-1 USB-C Hub: Generally offers more ports than the Baseus.

- Satechi USB-C Multi-Port Adapter: Often praised for its compact and portable design.
What You Need to Know Before Buying
Before purchasing a USB-C docking station, ensure your laptop's USB-C port supports the necessary data transfer protocols (like DisplayPort Alternate Mode for video output) and power delivery. Verify the docking station's compatibility with your operating system and check the specifications to ensure it meets your needs for the number and type of ports required (e.g., USB-A, USB-C, HDMI, Ethernet). Also, consider the physical size and placement of the dock, ensuring it doesn't obstruct other ports or interfere with your workflow.
Extra Tips
- Read online reviews from multiple sources to get a balanced perspective.
- Check the warranty offered by the manufacturer.
- Consider the build quality and materials used in the construction.
- Look for a model with good heat dissipation to prevent overheating.
- Think about future needs: Will this hub still suffice as your technology evolves?
Level up your savings. It's free.
