I’ve heard it’s soldered, so no upgrading later, right?

Yeah, you can’t upgrade it, unfortunately. 8GB is enough for daily stuff, but if you do anything more intense, you might feel it slow down. I do light photo editing, and it’s manageable, but I wouldn’t push it too hard.

Isn’t the i3 processor a bit too weak? My friend has an i5 version and swears by it

How’s the battery life? I’m mainly using it for school, so it’d be basic note taking and browsing

Battery’s decent, like 7-8 hours depending on brightness and tasks. Not amazing, but it’ll get you through a school day if you’re not doing anything too power hungry.

Yes, it is. I genuinely hate Core i3, they are the worst.

Now I have an Ideapad 3i with an i7 processor, and it is perfect for graphic design and gaming. I've never had anything to complain about.

A friend of mine has an i5 too, he uses it for daily tasks and has never had problems either. Nobody I know who bought Lenovo has had any issues, it's really a great brand, but buy it with an i5 core or higher.
