Ugh, I couldn't resist the extra $5 OFF and ended up buying a second one. I didn't even need the first lol
What a steal! Just bought two, at this price, I couldn't resist!
Does this router supports forming a mesh if I buy a few units?
- @Samsational Aug 30
Yes, for sure! I have 3 working as mesh with factory Linksys firmware.
Instructions for enabling MESH:
- Set up your main router completely.
- Connect your child node to the main router using the WAN port on the child node and the LAN port on the main router. Wait until you see a solid purple light on the child node before moving on.
- Log into your main router’s web admin.
- Click on "CA" in the bottom right corner.
- Go to "Connectivity" and then "CA Router Setup."
- Click on "Add Wired" and "Add Wireless" nodes. Wait for the "Add Wireless" button to become active again.
- Hit "Done adding Child Nodes" and then click "Apply."
- The child node light should start flashing purple and then turn blue when it’s in mesh mode.
- Disconnect the Ethernet cable and wait for the light to turn blue again.
- Move the child node to your desired location.
