It’s not super fancy, but it gets the job done
Does it make my electric bill disappear or am I still stuck paying that?

I was looking at these but are they better than Philips Hue? I know Hue’s more expensive
What about brightness?

Can you control them without Alexa? Like with just an app or something?
Yeah, you can use the Alexa app even if you don’t have the Echo. But without Alexa, you’ll miss out on the voice control, which is kind of the point.

philips hue’s better if you want full smart home integration and more color options, but these are a lot cheaper
What about brightness?
They’re bright enough for most rooms, but if you want something really bright, there are better options. This one is decent, but not mind blowing.
