I know this comment will get hate but it's insane how much wasted potential is in these M series ipads, the processing power is so overkill.

    That being said, great deal

Would rather use the money towards a laptop. I barely use my iPad Pro anymore.

Everyone has a different use case. Honestly, for me, the iPad can do everything my computer can—it’s just about the form factor. The Mac App Store doesn’t have hundreds of thousands of apps like the iPad does. In some ways, you can actually do more with an iPad than a laptop. Plus, it’s easier to get cell signal since they come in cellular versions.

I get that, but I’m still stuck on the multitasking. It’s just smoother on a laptop for me, especially for work stuff. The iPad feels more like a sidekick than the main device.

Fair, but for casual use or traveling, it’s a dream. And honestly, having cellular built-in has saved me so many times. No Wi-Fi? No problem. Laptops can’t touch that.

256GB Apple iPad Pro M4 11" WiFi Tablet (2024 Model): Should You Buy It?

Highlights and Advantages

  • Blazing-fast performance thanks to the powerful M4 chip.
  • Stunning 11-inch Liquid Retina XDR display with ProMotion technology for smooth visuals.
  • Versatile functionality for both productivity and entertainment.

Similares

  • Samsung Galaxy Tab S8: Offers a slightly larger screen size and S Pen integration for improved note-taking and drawing.
  • Microsoft Surface Pro 8: Provides a more laptop-like experience with a detachable keyboard and more robust Windows operating system.
  • iPad Air (5th generation): A more affordable option with still excellent performance, though with a less powerful processor than the M4 chip.

What You Need to Know Before Buying

Before purchasing this, or any iPad Pro, carefully consider your needs and technical specifications. The primary concerns are:

  • Storage Capacity: 256GB might be sufficient, but consider your media consumption and app usage. If you plan to store many large files (4K videos, high-resolution images), you might consider a larger storage option.
  • Connectivity: While this model offers Wi-Fi, think about whether you need cellular connectivity for on-the-go usage. Cellular models are available but will cost more.
  • Accessories: Consider the cost of additional accessories such as the Apple Pencil (for drawing and note-taking) and a keyboard (for productivity tasks). These accessories are sold separately and are not included with the device.

Extra Tips

  1. Read reviews: Check out professional and user reviews to get a more comprehensive understanding of the device's pros and cons.
  2. Consider the ecosystem: If you already own other Apple products, the iPad Pro integrates seamlessly, maximizing its potential.
  3. Check for trade-in options: Explore trade-in programs offered by Apple or other retailers to potentially offset the cost.
  4. Compare pricing across retailers: While price isn't a focus here, comparing prices from various authorized sellers might reveal slight variations.
  5. Think about your use case: Be clear about how you intend to use the iPad Pro – productivity, media consumption, gaming – to ensure it fits your specific needs.
