We just bought this and after running the initial burn off, it threw an error code which the troubleshooting has you contact customer support. Currently dealing with that

The size is a trade-off, but it’s worth it if you actually use all the functions. The rotisserie feature is the highlight for me; it cooks so evenly. The only downside is cleaning the parts—it’s not the easiest.

True, the cleanup can be annoying, but at least the air fryer basket is pretty easy to rinse out. I wish the oven function was a bit more precise, though. Baking cookies didn’t go as smoothly as I hoped

Same! The oven’s okay, but not as good as my regular one. Still, I’ve basically retired my old air fryer. The crispiness this one gets is next-level.

14-Quart Gourmia All-in-One Air Fryer, Oven, Rotisserie & Dehydrator: Should You Buy It?

Highlights and Advantages:

  • Combines four appliances (air fryer, oven, rotisserie, and dehydrator) into one, saving space and money.
  • Large 14-quart capacity suitable for feeding families or larger gatherings.
  • Versatile cooking options allow for a wide range of recipes and cooking methods.

Similares:

  • Ninja AF161 Air Fryer: Offers superior air frying performance, crispier results.
  • Cuisinart Convection Oven: Provides more even cooking for baking and roasting compared to the Gourmia's oven function.
  • Breville Smart Oven Air Fryer Pro: Features more precise temperature control and a wider range of cooking functions (including proofing and slow cooking).

What You Need to Know Before Buying:

Before purchasing a large multi-function appliance like this, consider the following:

  • Countertop Space: Ensure you have sufficient space on your countertop to accommodate the 14-quart size. Measure the dimensions carefully.
  • Power Requirements: Verify the appliance's voltage matches your outlet. Check the amperage draw to ensure your circuit can handle it.
  • Your Cooking Needs: Honestly assess if you'll utilize all four functions regularly. If you primarily air fry, a dedicated air fryer might be more efficient.

Extra Tips:

  1. Read user reviews before purchasing to get an idea of real-world performance and common issues.
  2. Consider the warranty offered and the ease of accessing customer support.
  3. Check the cleaning process; some multi-function appliances are more difficult to clean than others.
  4. Look for recipes specifically designed for the appliance's capabilities to fully explore its potential.
  5. Compare the Gourmia's features and specifications with similar models to ensure it meets your specific needs.
