34" Dell S3422DWG 3440x1440 144Hz VA Curved FreeSync Gaming Monitor

I've had this monitor for about 8 months now. The refresh rate is awesome for gaming and the resolution is perfect for immersion. The VA panel gives decent contrast, but sometimes the blacks feel a bit washed out.

How’s the curve?
- @Wandaful Oct 04
It is great for gaming, not too aggressive. It took me a few days to get used to for normal tasks, but now I love it.
Does the VA panel have any ghosting issues?
- @Samsational Oct 04
There’s a bit of ghosting in darker scenes, but nothing deal-breaking. If you’re super picky, it might bother you, but for the price, it’s solid.
I was debating between this Dell and the LG UltraGear 34GP83A-B. The LG’s got an IPS panel, right?
- @avashost Oct 04
Yeah, the LG’s got an IPS and faster response time. Better if you care about color accuracy for things like content creation, but you’ll pay more for it. The Dell’s better value overall, especially if gaming’s your main thing.
