it’s pretty decent for regular printing. I print documents a lot, and it usually lasts me a couple of weeks, depending on how much I print.

  • One thing though, it’s a bit pricey compared to some other brands, but if you’re sticking with HP printers, it’s the best match. I’ve tried off-brands, but they didn’t work as well

HP 62 Black Ink Cartridge: Should You Buy It?

Highlights and Advantages

  • Produces crisp, clear text and sharp images.
  • Designed for reliable performance and consistent print quality.
  • Easy to install and use with compatible HP printers.

Similares

  • Canon PG-245XL Black Ink Cartridge: Often offers a higher page yield than the HP 62.
  • Epson 29XL Black Ink Cartridge: May provide more cost-effective printing per page, depending on usage.
  • Brother LC103 Black Ink Cartridge: Could be a better option if you need a specific ink type for certain paper stocks.

What You Need to Know Before Buying

Before purchasing any printer ink cartridge, verify its compatibility with your specific HP printer model. Check the printer's manual or the HP website to ensure the HP 62 is indeed the correct cartridge for your device. Consider your printing needs (text-heavy vs. image-heavy) to determine if the cartridge's page yield will be sufficient for your usage.

Extra Tips

  1. Check online reviews from other users to gauge their experiences with the HP 62 cartridge.
  2. Consider buying a multipack for potential cost savings over time.
  3. Explore the possibility of purchasing refillable cartridges as a more environmentally friendly and potentially cost-effective alternative.
  4. If you print infrequently, consider smaller, individual cartridges to prevent ink from drying out.
  5. Store the cartridge properly (cool, dry place) to extend its lifespan.
