yo is it more Contra or more Metal Slug?
i slept on this when it came out cuz the name sounded like a budget FPS, turns out it’s one of the best indie shooters out there
- @thewalkingdead Mar 31
bit of both. tight controls like Contra but goofy/fun like Metal Slug plus way more personality than I expected
- @Solar Mar 31
does it get repetitive or does it mix stuff up?
- @thewalkingdead Mar 31
nah it switches gangs, bosses, weapons plus every boss has their own theme + intro. feels fresh the whole way
played this on Steam Deck and it’s perfect. controls tight, no stutter, finally a game that respects my need to dodge and shoot with style
art style is insane, like every frame could be a poster. also that announcer dude?? cracked me up every level
- @wabih58850 Mar 31
bro said “don’t lose your head” while I was actively losing mine
game got jokes
Steam Deck verified too, runs like butter, perfect for short bursts or full sessions
picked it up for the pixel art, stayed for the boss fights. each gang has its own theme + weirdos to fight. it’s like a playable Saturday morning cartoon but rated M
playing this felt like being inside a VHS tape 80s music, gang names like “The Misconducts”, i’m obsessed

same, announcer voice had me cracking up between levels
"MAKE CRIME BLEED" – iconic
this game is pure arcade energy, tight controls, crazy bosses, and one-liners for days, $4 is basically giving it away
lowkey one of the best indie shooters I’ve played, everything’s handcrafted and polished, if you liked Contra or Metal Slug, this is a must-play

yo how long is it? worth the buy if I’m only playing solo?
campaign’s like 5-6 hrs depending on skill, every stage has replay value tho and solo’s 🔥, but couch co-op is where the chaos really hits
is it just guns or are there other weapons?
lowkey one of the best indie shooters I’ve played, everything’s handcrafted and polished, if you liked Contra or Metal Slug, this is a must-play
nah you get a mix — guns, throwing knives, melee weapons, you can even smack dudes with briefcases, pure side-scroller chaos
