It’s solid for the price. I mostly use it to connect my mouse, keyboard, and an external SSD.
I bought one for travel, mainly to hook up my laptop to monitors in hotel rooms. Works fine for basic stuff like USB drives and charging phones, but it definitely struggles when I plug in my external hard drive and try to transfer files. Slows down noticeably. If you’re using it for something intensive, I’d go with something better.
