Hi guys, I'm new to PC gaming. Is it better to buy a pre-built gaming PC or build one myself? Any recommendations for a beginner?

Build build build! It’s easy enough, and of course you can match items yourself.

Build. It’s not as hard as it seems. I’d recommend ultimate pc building guide from Linus. That’s the one I used.

If most of what you're doing is web browsing or using streaming services like Youtube, Hulu or Netflix, that's really the only time I'd say go for prebuilt. Because with less intense use cases, build imbalances from a prebuilt don't matter so much.

I’ve started building my gaming pc recently and thought it’d be super hard, but there are tons of tutorials online. plus, pcpartpicker is great for picking out the right parts
