Picked this up for my dad, he just needed something basic but decent. Honestly surprised, runs smooth for the price. 5G works fine, and the battery life is solid, lasts him almost 2 days. Only thing is the camera is kinda meh, but for a budget phone, can’t complain.

What You Need to Know Before Buying

Before purchasing any smartphone, including the Moto G 5G 2024, consider the following technical aspects:

  • Network Compatibility: Ensure the phone is compatible with your cellular carrier's network frequencies (e.g., 5G, 4G LTE bands). Check the AT&T specifications to ensure it works on your plan.
  • Storage Needs: 128GB might be sufficient for many, but consider your media consumption habits. If you download many large games or videos, you might want more storage. Expansion via microSD card is not always an option, so check if it is supported.
  • Operating System and Updates: Research the Android version and the manufacturer's commitment to software updates. Longer update support provides better security and feature enhancements.
