So, this enclosure gets its power straight from the USB port. Most ssds will be just fine with that. But for high-performance nvme drives that need more juice, make sure the USB ports on your computer can handle it!

The 3.2 interface is way faster than 3.1. This means you'll get quicker data transfers, which is great for big files and stuff like video editing or gaming.
Can this handle msata drives?
No way. mSATA has a different key type and physical dimensions compared to the m.2 NVMe slot.
