Yes, it has motion detection. You can set up notifications, so it pings your phone every time there’s movement. It’s been pretty reliable for me so far. You can also watch live through the echo show screen.
If I’m trying to follow a recipe or watch something while cooking, is it easy to see or is it just kinda meh?
Not bad, as long as it doesn’t start answering me in the middle of the night like Alexa’s got something important to say lol
