Crysis Remastered Trilogy (PC/Steam Digital Download)

The remaster looks great, but optimization is still kinda meh. Runs way better than the originals, though, yes, even on modern hardware.
Does it still have that "Can it run Crysis?" moment, or is it finally optimized?
Wild how a game from 2007 can still make gpus sweat
Solid remaster, but if you only care about Crysis 1, the standalone remaster often goes on sale for way cheaper. Trilogy is worth it if you want all three, though.

It’s optimized better than before, but still pretty demanding. With a highend gpu, you’re fine. Midrange cards might struggle a bit on max settings.

Highlights and Advantages:
- Experience three iconic first-person shooters remastered with enhanced visuals and gameplay.
- Enjoy a cutting-edge Nanosuit with advanced capabilities and strategic combat options.
- Explore vast and diverse environments across three critically acclaimed Crysis games.
Similar Products:
- Far Cry Series: Offers a similar open-world, first-person shooter experience with a stronger emphasis on exploration and diverse gameplay mechanics. It might be preferable if you prefer a larger variety of weapons and missions.
- Metro Exodus Series: Provides a similarly immersive atmosphere but with a heavier emphasis on survival and stealth gameplay within a post-apocalyptic setting. This may appeal to players who value a more gritty and survival-focused experience.
- Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Series: Features more streamlined and fast-paced combat compared to Crysis' slower, more tactical approach. It could be a better fit if you prefer a game with a larger multiplayer focus.
What You Need to Know Before Buying:
Before purchasing the Crysis Remastered Trilogy, ensure your PC meets the minimum and recommended system requirements specified on Steam. Pay close attention to the required graphics card and processor capabilities, as the game can be demanding even on remastered versions. Test your internet connection’s stability for the smooth downloading and installation process on Steam.
Extra Tips:
- Check user reviews on Steam to get an idea of the post-remaster performance and any lingering issues.
- Watch gameplay videos to assess if the updated visuals and gameplay mechanics align with your preferences.
- Consider if you've played the original Crysis games before—the remaster might not offer enough new content to justify a purchase if you already are familiar with the original experience.
- See if the trilogy is currently included in any Steam sales or bundles to optimize value (although price was excluded from this analysis).
- Consider your overall gaming library and preferences; this game might not be the optimal purchase if you're not typically into FPS games with advanced technology and physics.
